Noisy engines, a cold gust of wind from the underground and the rattle of a passing e-scooter. Mobility – a basic human right. The region I spent two weeks exploring in Paris, near the Assemblée Nationale, has been influenced heavily by the consequences of mobility over the past years. From the immense Boulevard Saint-Germain to the noise of the hidden but heavily used metro, to the politicians of the National Assembly who, during my visit in Paris, passed the new mobility law. It is a subject that has been present in Paris for a long time and is constantly evolving. My newspaper visualizes the hidden influences and various consequences of mobility which unnoticeably affects the region I observed and its inhabitants.
